Henley Sculls Head 2024
Henley Sculls is scheduled to take place on
Saturday 2nd November 2024.
NOTICES :
Thank you for joining us at Henley Sculls, we hope you enjoyed your day and racing with us. Results have been posted on the website and any medals not collected will be posted in due course.
We also send our sincere thanks to the veritable army of Officials and Volunteers who make our events successful. We really couldn't do it without them/you! We also thank Henley Royal Regatta, Henley Contracting, and our contacts at Hobbs, Copas and Greenlands for their valued support.
We hope to see you back on the Henley Reach in February for our Fours & Eights Head.
31/10/24 Our event is : ON
However, the race committee are making some precautionary adjustments to our entry in light of the recent conditions and current flow (EA Yellow boards – stream decreasing, 31/10/24).
J14 4x+ are being removed and we will refund these entries in full.
J15 4x+, 2x and 1x are being removed and we will refund these entries in full.
J16 1x should consider their competence to race in the conditions and if you choose to withdraw your entry we will refund in full
All crews and scullers must only boat if they and their coaches feel competent and confident to do so, this is in line with our Instructions to Competitors which you should read carefully.
30/10/24 Our Event is ON, however some adjustments will be made to our entry and we will lose some events. This is currently being worked on and a further announcement will be made tomorrow morning.
24/10/24 Conditions are slowly improving in Henley but it remains UNCERTAIN if our event will run. September saw 319% of normal /rainfall and October 154%, this is still working its way through the system. Our decision will be made on Wednesday unless it becomes obvious /before then 🤞
